We use Groover because it guarantees that  every submission is actually heard.  Our response rate on Groover is 100%.

Groover requires curators to provide feedback within a set timeframe. That means artists know their music won’t disappear into an inbox.

Using Groover also helps us manage a large number of submissions in an organized way so we can focus on discovering great music rather than managing email.

We listen to every submission we receive through Groover, most of them twice.  We listen the first time, and make decisions while we write our feedback the second.

If your music fits one of our playlists or editorial direction, we may add it to a BAMN playlist or follow up through Groover. If it isn’t a fit right now, you will still receive written detailed feedback from working producers and songwriters.

We’re artists, producers, and songwriters ourselves. We understand what it takes to write, record, produce, release, and promote a song.

When we give feedback, we’re doing it from the perspective of curators serving an audience of over 25,000 listeners — and as creators who work in the same world.

If a song is great but not the right fit for our playlists, we’ll tell you. If we think something could be stronger, we’ll say that too. Our goal is always to give honest feedback with respect for the work that goes into making music.

BAMN Music primarily focuses on:

• Chill electronic and house (for specific playlists)

We prioritize songs with strong songwriting, authentic performances, and genre appropriate competitive production.  Our playlists are only available on Spotify.

Submitting through Groover guarantees that your track will be heard and reviewed, but playlist placement depends on whether the song fits the style and mood of the playlists we curate.

BAMN Music is primarily a publisher and playlist curator, but we occasionally work with artists on single-song marketing partnerships.

In these arrangements, BAMN promotes and markets a track under an exclusive license. Marketing expenses are recouped first, and revenue from the master recording is then shared 50/50 between the artist and BAMN.

These opportunities are selective and typically develop after we’ve connected through a submission.  If this is something you'd like to be considered for, please include that in your Groover submission information.
